Brexit LIVE: Backstop breakthrough! Irish ready to hear Boris's new plan for border



FURTHER cracks in the unity of the European Union have appeared, with Ireland’s Deputy Prime Minister Simon Coveney stressing his willingness to work with the UK Government on an alternative to the much-criticised backstop plan for the Irish border - with one former Irish diplomat suggesting Mr Coveney "may be preparing for a climbdown".

    Great cancel the back stop. Just do not table Treason Mays treacherous 500 page toxic withdrawal deal because despite cancelling 99% of the content it will still be a totally unacceptable surrender document designed to turn Britain to a vassal state attached to the EU for ever. If this deal is even suggested by Boris then we know that Boris is getting ready to betray the British people. If he does the Tories and BORIS ARE FINISHED.
